Baška voda, the former village of farmers and fishermen, traders and seafarers is situated 48 km south of Split, at the foot of a mountain slope, along the coast of the crystal clear Adriatic Sea.

The town was already inhabited in Roman times as evidenced by numerous findings. The present town developed in the early 18th century, and its parish church St. Nicholas was built in the early 20th century.

Baška voda has a wealth of facilities for recreation on land and sea, beautiful pebble and sandy beaches, various sports courts, diving, berths for boaters in the enlarged port. Spend pleasant evenings and night hours in some of the cultural and entertainment events in the town centre.
