Trogir
TROGIR – is located on the island between the mainland
and the island of Ciovo with which it is connected to the stone bridge. Wealth
of historical and cultural monuments, masterpieces, narrow streets and art
collections inspires every visitor. Trogir Riviera, well-indented and abundant
with small bays, capes, islands enriched with lush Mediterranean vegetation
is still preserved in its original form.
It’s considered the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic city and therefore is
from 1997. under UNESCO protection. Rich cultural heritage and a mild Mediterranean
climate with 2700 hours of sunshine a year, makes it one of the most attractive
destinations in Croatia.
