BASKA VODA - a small fishing village located 48 km south of Split,

Baska voda, the former village of farmers and fishermen, traders and seafarers

The city is already inhabited in Roman times as evidenced by numerous findings.
The present town developed in early 18th century, and its parish church St.
Nicholas was built in the early 20th century.
