Istria
Istria is the largest Adriatic peninsula, whose coastline, with numerous bays,
peninsulas and islands, expends on 537 km. Natural beauty, magical landscapes
and the unique mentality of its inhabitants perfectly describe Istria, amazing
northern coastal region.
Because of its diversity Istria can be divided into two parts, green and blue
Istria. Green Istria is the name of the interior of the peninsula, known for
the old vineyards and olive groves, fertile valleys and its cultural monuments.
In the interior of Istria, is located the smallest city in the whole world,
town Hum, which is registered in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Coastal and island part of Istria, called the Blue Istria, stretches from the
old town of Labin to historical Pula, beautiful Porec, magical Rovinj and Savudrija.
