Each yacht produced by Bavaria Yachts is the culmination of almost 40 years of boatbuilding experience, the knowledge of the company's development team, and the skills of worldwide yacht builders.

A Bavaria yacht is great fusion of several factors. The rich engineering knowledge of Germany serves as the foundation for everything. It is a form of art that has a successful and lengthy history in boat building. To produce something that captures the spirit of each Bavaria, the finest supplies are emplyed, such as technology, and workmanship. Bavaria Yachts manufactured its first motorboats in 2001, and like sailing yachts they immediately became a success. Apart from the quality, the unrivaled price‐performance ratio was yet another factor that laid the foundation.

In 2010, it became clear that customers expected much more from a yacht. A yacht was not only supposed to be fast and offer safety in sailing, it was also expected to have the same features as a modern vacation home, along with the highest quality of construction. In comparison to a Bavaria yacht from 1978, the manufacturing process of today’s BAVARIA yacht is much more complex and different from the ones made in the 70.-ties. Today, about 550 employees of Bavaria Yachts work in Giebelstadt and produce over 450 sailing yachts and motorboats.
