Maiora - Fipa Group

Maiora yachts are manufactured at two facilities in the Tuscany area, based on their size. Viareggio produces relatively modest hulls (up to 26 meters in length), but Massa is competent for manufacturing GRP boats exceeding 30 meters long, as well as two new Maiora steel 38 and 43 meters in length.

The company manufactures 11 yacht types that range in length from 21.5 to 43 meters. These are generally flybridge yachts, with a dynamic appearance that highlights the essence of evolution and creative elements in Maiora's products. The base is made of the now-popular GRP fiberglass reinforced plastic. Design and construction are done with different levels of customization. The 2001 acquisition of AB Yachts emphasized the shipyard's focus on fast open boats with jet propulsion systems. This was the strategy to establish a presence in the world's shipyards. The 2005 takeover of CBI Navi expanded the company's model line with metal displacement boats. The first superyacht, the 43-meter Maiora Lighea of steel and aluminum, was completed the same year. Maiora has significant roots in the Italian yachting community.
