We want to extend a big thank you to everyone that took part in the 10th Hanse Cup Adriatic in Croatia with us!
Our jubilee Hanse Cup Adriatic kicked off from Marina Kaštela on May 6th with 23 crews from over 10 countries and more than 140 participants. Nearly a complete range of Hanse Yachts, from Hanse 388 to Hanse 588, was featured in this three-day sailing regatta with unbeatable weather conditions, perfect wind, and sunny May temperatures.
The first leg of the regatta sailed from Kaštela to Tribunj, the second from Tribunj to Šibenik, and the third from Šibenik to Maslinica, placed on the island of Šolta. Culinary specialties, DJ, and live music lit up the evenings while sailors enjoyed some of the best restaurants in Central and North Dalmatia. We even organized a “Baraka dinghy race” where crews rowed to a case of beer, with the Purple Rain crew (Hanse 455) winning a magnum bottle from the renowned Baraka Winery!
When talking about overall winners, the Hanse 588 German crew Hot Stuff and the Auszeit sailing team took first place. Nausica II, with Didier Lutz as the skipper, was second with the Hanse 588, while the Austrian team of the Hanse 458 One Life took third place in the overall order. Finally, “The Heaviest Anchor Award” went to the Hanse 388 crew, Sweet Summer.
This regatta was made possible by our platinum sponsors UNIQA Insurance, gold sponsors OTP Leasing and ACI Club, and our Prize sponsors North Sails. The official wine of the regatta Baraka Winery provided the best local wine as a treat for all winners.
