In the area

The Kornati Archipelago consists of 147 islands, islets and reefs within the Kornati National Park. The area is famous for fascinating cliffs, stone pasture grounds and a variety of vegetation. Traces of Roman, Illyrian and medieval constructions are found on the islands. There are old fishermen’s houses on the Kornati islands. Except for the ones on the largest island, Kornat, they are primarily uninhabited. The Kornati offer numerous beautiful coves in which to anchor for a lunch break, a quick swim or for the night. There are also excellent family restaurants to be found in some of the coves. Though noadditional tourist facilities exist on the islands, the raw, untouched natural beauty more than compensates for it.

Other Useful Information

It's important to note that the marina lies within the boundaries of the Kornati National Park, which means park entrance fees apply. Furthermore, given the marina's remote location, it is recommended that sailors arrive well-equipped with all necessary supplies.
